2025 Poster by Nicola Soricelli

Nicola Soricelli started doing art as a young 10-year-old. With so many artists in her family, it was obvious that she had inherited the gene. At the age of nineteen, she studied art at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art. She moved to Pennsylvania and put her art on hold until her children graduated High School. She was so impressed with the beauty of the landscape, that it became a major influence in her paintings.  She works mainly in pastel and oil, but recently she has been experimenting with acrylics and gouache. In the 2024 Devon Horse Show, she won “Best in Show” for her painting “Hounds”. She was privileged to be asked to do the poster for the 2025 Devon Horse Show. She belongs to several art groups in Chester County, which have shows a few times a year. She does limited commission work on any subject.
