Deborah was an American artist, educator, and lecturer whose career spanned fine art, portraiture, illustration, and art education. 

Throughout her career, Morrison's artwork has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Rosemont College, Widener College, the Sketch club of Philadelphia, Fontana Gallery, 301 Gallery, Landsman Gallery, and the Designers Corner Gallery.

From 1985 through 1997, Morrison designed and illustrated the annual Devon Horse Show poster, a tradition associated with one of the country's premier equestrian events. Her posters became widely recognized among Devon enthusiasts and collectors, and contributed to the visual identity of the horse show during that era.
